At Churches in Covenant, we use an online database called Fellowship One. Your information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties.
You can schedule new contributions and modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please contact us at email@example.com.
The Fellowship One system used by CIC is also used by other churches and ministries throughout the country. Its security features have been fully tested by their team. The system allows you to securely make donations online and allows us to provide you secure access to your contribution records. There are two specific aspects of security related to the system:
- Secure access - You are provided secure access to your information by creating a unique account. When you create your account, you will determine your own login id and password. You can change your password at any time. If you forget your login id or password, you can have the system email it to you by entering the email address that you used when you created your account. If you need help or cannot remember the email address you used, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
At the creation of the new account, we will match your data with our current records (e.g., address, phone number, and email address). If there is any question, we will contact you before creating the link to your database record. This process may take a few days.
You will be able to donate immediately upon the creation of your new account but you will not have access to any previous contribution information until after we manually link your previous information to the account you created.
Churches in Covenant will never call you to ask for your login information
Please help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive information can be gained by letting someone else use your account or by leaving the information for someone else to see.
- Encryption - The Fellowship One documentation states that the system uses the most current encryption technology for all data passed in the hyperlinks. In addition, the Login module processes passwords using a process that would take 50 computers continuously presenting password combinations four years to discover the password.
